Grass Cutting Services For Public Utilities 2026-2027

The following information is a list of SIXTY-THREE (63) Robeson County water

system addresses, water tanks, and well sites that need to be cut and maintained by an

outside vendor.

Effective Period:

THIS IS A TWO (2) YEAR CONTRACT for sixty-three (63) sites:

Year 1: Contractual work will begin Wednesday, April 1, 2026 and will conclude

on Monday, November 30, 2026 (8 months). Work will be done any day during

the week with the exception of the hours of 6 o’clock am until 1 o’clock pm on

Sunday mornings. All services are to be performed in a professional manner and

contractual employees must be professional in conduct, attire and work performed.

Year 2: Contractual work will begin Thursday, April 1, 2027 and will conclude on

Tuesday, November 30, 2027 (8 months). Work will be done any day during the

week with the exception of the hours of 6 o’clock am until 1 o’clock pm on Sunday

mornings. All services are to be performed in a professional manner and

contractual employees must be professional in conduct, attire and work performed.

Either party will have the right to terminate this agreement upon 30 days written notice

with or without cause. Failure to meet weekly schedules without contacting Myron

Neville at (910) 671-3485, Director of Robeson County Public Utilities, can be cause of

termination. Robeson County shall have the right to terminate this agreement without a

30-day written notice for non-compliance of the terms of this Agreement. Robeson County shall award this contract to the vendor who is the most responsible bidder that provides a bid most advantageous to the County, taking into consideration the amount of the bid, quality, performance and timing of service delivery. Robeson County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to award in the best interest of the County.
